Turf Formula® also helps reduce excess sodium levels in the soil and plant tissue. Since sodium competes with potassium for uptake, high sodium levels can limit nutrient absorption. Turf Formula® Recommended Application
Turf Formula® should be applied monthly for the maintenance and enhancement of lawns and turf grass. The rate and amount of application can, and should be altered to address the specific requirements of the user as to climate and soil conditions. Nutrient levels in the soil should be monitored with routine soil tests.
New Lawns & Sod (seeding or sodding)
- Apply 2 oz per 1,000 sq ft immediately after seeding/laying sod.
- Repeat every 30 days during establishment.
Established Lawns & Sod
- Apply 1–2 oz per 1,000 sq ft every 30 days during the growing season.
- For stressed turf, apply 1 oz per 1,000 sq ft every 15 days until recovery.
Notes
- Apply in early morning or late evening and water in.
- Compatible with most fertilizers/chemicals; their rates may be reduced by 25%.
- Apply with any sprayer or injection through irrigation.
